Dutse - The Dutse Local Government in Jigawa on Monday swore-in the newly-elected 11 councillors in the area.
The councillors were sworn in by Chief Magistrate Mustafa Datti, of Chief Magistrate Court II, Dutse.
10 of the councillors are from PDP, while one is from APC.
The coucillors are; Mustafa Sani of Kudai ward (APC), Aminu Shuaibu of Karnaya ward (PDP), Yunusa Yusuf of Jigawar Tsada ward (PDP), Abdullahi Wada of Limawa ward (PDP) and Usman Sule of Kachi ward (PDP).
Others are; Garba Ahmed of Madobi ward (PDP), Abdullahi Idris of Zobiya ward (PDP), Adamu Yusif of Darau ward (PDP), Adamu Muhammad of Dundubus ward (PDP), Idris Abubakar of Dagwaje ward (PDP) and Muazu Halilu of Chamo ward (PDP).
Abdulaziz Dankofa, the Chairman of the council, called on the councillors to discharge their duties with the fear of God.
Dankofa urged them to carry everybody along irrespective of political affiliations.
He also urged them to do their best to move the local government forward.
