Abakaliki - A former senator, Azu Agboti, who represented Ebonyi South Senatorial zone in the National Assembly on Monday dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports National Mirror.
No reason was given by the Senator for his defection, but it was learnt that he expressed the position of being unhappy over how the new PDP administration jettisoned his candidates for appointments in the present government of the state.

Many other chieftains of the PDP who were not appointed or their list of candidates jettisoned have also concluded plans to join Agboti in APC.
