Benin City - Apparently dissatisfied with the outcome of the concluded primaries in Edo North senatorial district, the Secretary to the Edo State Government (SSG), Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, has resigned his appointment, reports The Nation.
Ihonvbere, an aspirant in the Edo North senatorial primaries under the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), resigned because he felt Governor Adams Oshiomhole connived with the Estako tribe to humiliate him.
Ihonvbere lost to Major Francis Alimekhena.
