Ado Ekiti - The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirants are considering a consensus candidate ahead of the June 21 governorship election in Ekiti State, Thisday reports
This is coming at a time when the PDP national secretariat hasreleased guidelines for the party primaries which begin on March 19.
According to Thisday some of the governorship candidates are against this move, but the confusion of either holding primaries or choosing a consensus candidate to represent the PDP, has been blamed for the PDP losing in the last elections.
