Enugu - The Enugu State House of Assembly has commenced impeachment proceedings against the deputy governor of the state, Sunday Onyebuchi, Premium Times reports.
At its plenary session, the 22-member House dominated by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, directed its clerk to serve impeachment notice on the deputy governor accused of gross misconduct.
It was learnt that 20 out of the 22 lawmakers signed the impeachment notice which was allegedly facilitated by the Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime.
