Ex-PDP chairman lauds Lamido’s people oriented projects

05 September 2012, 16:28

Dutse  - A former PDP Chairman in Jigawa, Isa Duniya-Ba-Hutu, has commended Gov. Sule Lamido over the implementation of rural and people oriented projects in the state.

Duniya-Ba-Hutu made the commendation in an interview with the News Agency Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Dutse.

He said the governor has done well, especially in the areas of education, health, poverty and economic empowerment, agriculture, water, transport and road development.

The PDP stalwart said the governor had put up effective leadership qualities to transform the state and improve the overall wellbeing of the people of the state.

“Lamido has initiated viable projects aimed at the rapid socio/economic development of the state in the last five years.

“He exhibited exemplary leadership abilities and laid solid foundation for the state.

“Lamido’s achievements will enable the electorate to feel the dividends of democracy and enhance the growth of democratic culture at the grass roots.”

Duniya-Ba-Hutu also commended the re-organisation and relocation of Ministries, Agencies and Departments to the state capital by the Lamido administration.

He expressed optimism that the centralisation of government’s agencies would facilitate proper coordination, promote transparency and enhance government operations.

“The structures put on ground will encourage good governance and ensure sustainable development of the state.”

Duniya-Ba-Hutu urged the people of the state to support government’s policies and programmes to accelerate rapid development of the state.
