Ex-Reps beg Dogara for jobs

19 August 2015, 12:20

Abuja - No fewer than 22 former members of the House of Representatives are seriously lobbying the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogora and his deputy, Yusuf Lasun for jobs, reports Punch.

The ex-lawmakers are lobbying to become aides of either Dogara or Lasun.

Majority of the job seekers were part of the 2011-2015 batch, whose tenure at the National Assembly ended on June 5.

Six out of the 22 ex-lawmakers have already been handed letters of engagement to serve as special advisers to Dogara and Lasun.
