Abeokuta - A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, has lambasted the All Progressives Congress presidential aspirant, Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), for taking a loan of N27.5m to procure his party’s expression of interest and nomination form for the 2015 presidential election, reports Punch
He said that the action of the former head of state was condemnable, noting that it amounted to monetisation of politics.

Falana, who was speaking at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Paramount FM Chapel Press Week, wondered how Buhari was going to fund his campaign if he emerges the party’s candidate considering the fact that it costs billions of naira to run a presidential campaign.
He urged Nigerians to kick against monetisation of politics as being practiced in the country today.
