Lagos - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has ruled out Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos as one of those the party is considering has the running mate of whoever emerges as the party’s presidential candidate, reports Punch.
The governor's name is not included in the list of possible vice presidential candidates because of his religion.
A highly placed source within the APC said that since it was almost certain that the party would field a Muslim as its presidential candidate, it would therefore be out of place to have another Muslim as the running mate.
