Ado Ekiti - Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has slammed his All Progressives Congress (APC) counterparts for opposing his nomination as the deputy chairman of the Governors’ Forum, reports NewsDay.
Fayose, who was reacting to comments of the APC governors that they would not accept Fayose as deputy chairman of the Governors’ Forum, said the APC governors have no choice over the matter.
He noted that he was not interested in the position because it comes with responsibilities but his colleagues in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are insisting that he must be the deputy chairman of NGF.

He stated that his colleagues chose him because he is the longest serving governor today, having served in the days of President Olusegun Obasanjo and also presently serving.
