Ado Ekiti - Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has frozen the account of the state Assembly, reports Tribune.
The governor according to the Speaker of the House, Adewale Omirin, took the decision to punish the All Progressives Congress (APC) dominated House because of the refusal of APC members to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and for not approving the governor’s commissioner-nominees.
Omirin in a statement by his media aide, Wole Olujobi, denied that the House was constituting a stumbling block to Fayose’s bid to constitute his cabinet.
