Ado Ekiti - The simmering crisis in Ekiti State worsened on Tuesday as Governor Ayodele Fayose ordered the sealing off of the office of the Speaker of state House of Assembly, Adewale Omirin, reports Daily Post.
He also ordered the withdrawal of drivers and vehicles attached to the office of the Speaker.
Omirin in a statement through his Special Adviser on Media, Wole Olujobi, said Fayose has been using threats and coercion to take firm control of the Assembly.

He noted that the governor had earlier ordered the sack of his aides and those of the Deputy Speaker and Majority Leader.
He also accused Fayose of freezing the account of the House, cutting off of electricity supply to his lodge and stopping statutory votes for his upkeep and protocol
