Yola - For refusing to drop his appeal against his removal as acting governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri may be suspended from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports The Nation.
Fintiri has rebuffed all entreaties from the party leadership to shelve the appeal against the victory of former deputy governor Bala James Ngillari in court.

The part has appealed to Fintiri not to pursue an appeal on the victory of another party man.
President Jonathan as leader of the party had also intervened by inviting Fintiri to Aso Villa and urged to him to drop his appeal in order not to hurt the party’s chances in future elections in the state.
Fintiri is, however, insisting on going ahead with the appeal to upturn the judgement.
A Federal High Court in Abuja had ruled that Ngillari should automatically become governor when the former governor was impeached since Ngilari’s reported resignation was not in accordance with the constitution.
