Abeokuta - Five Ogun State House of Assembly members elected under different political platforms have indicated their intentions to dumped their parties to join the Peoples Democratic Party, reports NewsDay.
The five lawmakers it was learnt resolved to join the PDP following the return of the former governor of the state, Gbenga Daniel to the party.

The lawmakers who have indicated interests to defect to the PDP are Labour Party’s (LP) Remmy Hazzan, Olowo Oloja of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as well as Salman Adeleke, Folorunsho Adegbesan, John Obafemi all three from Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN).
The lawmakers have already submitted letters to be read on the floor of the House before the September 30 recess was approved by the Speaker who misunderstood the defection as a ploy to unseat him as speaker.
