Yenagoa - A former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)in Bayelsa State, Sam Inokoba has passed away, reports NewsDay.
He died in Lagos on Tuesday night after slumping at a meeting in the house of a former Managing Director of the Niger- Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Timi Alaibe.
Inokoba along with some chieftains of the PDP in Bayelsa defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) about two weeks ago.

Until his death, Inokoba was a governorship aspirant in the state under the platform of the APC.
He procured his nomination form to contest the party’s governorship primaries just two days ago.
Inokoba had earlier slumped at an APC stakeholders meeting in Nembe seven days ago.
He was aged 68 years.
