Abeokuta - Former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN),Tunde Lemo may have decided to join the 2015 gubernatorial race in Ogun State, reports Tribune.
Lemo was said to have been urged to join the gubernatorial race under the banner Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Lemo’s choice was said to have been endorsed by stakeholders not only within the Ogun PDP, but outside the state.
The decision to drag the former CBN deputy governor into the race is because he is seen as a candidate that can defeat Gov. Ibikunle Amosun in the election based on his past positive contributions to the development of South-West economy through the apex bank.
