Benin City - A former Deputy Governor of the Edo State under the Professor Oserheinmen Osunbor administration, and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Lucky Imasuen has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports NewsDay.
Other notable members who dumped the PDP with Imasuen were a former deputy chairman of the party in the state, Christopher Adesotu and erstwhile member of the House of Representatives, Hon John Abolagba.

Imasuen, a former Chairman of SURE-P in the state, who spoke on behalf of others, said it was no longer news that the PDP had fallen apart.
Governor Adams Oshiomhole received the defectors into the APC fold.
