Lokoja - The son of a former governor of Kogi state, Ibrahim Idris, Mohammed has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports NewsDay.
Mohammed defected along with one of the party's governorship aspirants Jibrin Isa Echocho.
The defectors were welcomed to the APC fold by the party’s governorship candidate, Abubabakr Audu

Audu said we the defection of Echocho and Idris, the PDP was dead and buried in the state.
Echocho said that they had given the PDP enough time to amend certain internal crises but it failed.
He added that Audu’s coming was divine and urged all elders and youths in the state to support Audu in the November 21 governorship election.
