Owerri - Former minister of Interior, Emma Iheanacho, on Monday declared his intentions to contest for governor of Imo State in 2015 under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) after defecting from the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Daily Post reports.
Iheanacho said he dumped the PDP to play his part in changing the plight of the downtrodden in the state, and that was his motivation for entering the governorship race.
He also put the blame for Nigeria's problems squarely on the shoulders of the ruling party and it's leaders.
