Abeokuta - Four members of the Ogun State Executive Council on Monday formally resigned their appointments, reports Tribune.
Their resignation is to allow them contest for elective positions in the 2015 general elections.

Those that resigned are Governor Amosun’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Shuaib Salisu, state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Dr Lanre Tejuoso, Commissioner for Urban and Physical Planning, Gbenga Otenuga, and the governor’s Special Adviser on Environment. Tunde Sanusi.
While Salisu and Tejuoso resigned to contest for Ogun Central Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Otenuga and Sanusi resigned to vie for House of Representatives seats.
