Abuja - The seven governors, popularly called the G-7, who are part of the Baraje-led People’s Democratic Party, PDP in a meeting on Sunday resolved that Olagunsoye Oyinlola should be allowed to resume duty as the national secretary of the PDP, Punch reports.
The meeting, which took place in Abuja had in attendance Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara); Aliyu Wamakko(Sokoto); Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers); Babangida Aliyu(Niger); Murtala Nyako (Adamawa); and Musa Kwakwanso(Kano) and the deputy governor of Jigawa State represented Governor Sule Lamido
Also in attendance were the National Chairman of the New PDP, Abubakar Baraje; Oyinlola; a former Governor of Gombe State, Danjuma Goje; and a former Governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni. Others include a former Governor of Kwara State, Bukoka Saraki, ex-Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipreye Sylva; and a former Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdulahi Adamu.
The New PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chukwuemeka Eze, had said on Sunday that Jonathan and the Bamanga Tukur-led PDP would receive the court order on Monday.
