Lagos - Two arch enemies in the Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olabode George and former Minister of Works, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, have resolved to sheath their swords in the interest of their party.
With the reconciliation, the reported battle over the soul of the PDP in Lagos State has been settled, reports National Mirror.
In what was seen a mark of an acceptance of George’s leadership, Ogunlewe led his loyalists drawn from all the local governments across the state to Ikoyi residence of George to pay homage to him as the party leader.

George on his part described the reunion as a unifying factor that would strengthen the PDP to win the next year governorship election in Lagos State.
