Minna - Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu has dismissed reports that he has endorsed his Jigawa State counterpart, Sule Lamido for the 2015 Presidential election, reports Leadership.
The governor who was reacting to newspapers’ reports that said he had endorsed Lamido said he was quoted out of context.
He described the report as false and a ploy to cause confusion and ignite tension between him and the party at the national level.

He noted that since the PDP has a sitting President, it is not his constitutional duty to anoint anybody as the party’s presidential candidate.
He said he only advised Lamido to be prepared for greater responsibilities base on his achievements as Jigawa governor.
