Minna - Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu of Niger has debunked claims that he plans to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports Leadership.
A statement issued by his chief press secretary, Israel Ebije, Aliyu said the report that he and his Jigawa State counterpart, Sule Lamido, intend to leave PDP for the(APC was spurious.

He said he led the G-7 governors to advocate for sanity in the PDP and not to leave the party.
He noted that the formation of the G-7 shouldn’t be misconstrued as moves to cross to the opposition or divide the PDP.
