Abakaliki - Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State has urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to refrain from engaging in senseless and needless opposition with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, reports National Mirror.
Umahi disclosed this while addressing PDP members, who paid him a condolence visit over his mother’s death.

He noted that the state has a lot of challenges and it would make no sense for it to embark on any form of senseless opposition.
He, however, noted that supporting Buhari’s programmes does not in any way mean that he and other members of Ebonyi PDP would abandon the party to join the APC.
He said he remains a PDP member under which platform he was elected.
