Abuja - Former governorship candidate of the Democratic People's Party (DPP) in Delta State, Great Ogboru,on Thursday defected from the party to pick the Labour Party's nomination form to contest the 2015 gubernatorial election in the state, reports National Mirror.
He said his choice of Labour Party was informed by the huge gap in democratic tenets in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ogboru who was presented the party’s nomination form by LP National Chairman, Abdukadir Ialami at the party’s headquarters in Abuja, promised to ensure speedy development of the state if elected governor in the forthcoming 2015 election.

This is the fourth time Ogboru will be seeking the mandate of Delta people to govern the state.
