Lagos - The Niger Delta People’s Movement has raised
concern at factionalism within the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State.
It laid the blame on former Chairman in the state,
Richard Kpodo, accusing him and alleged associates working for the interest of
the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Director of Communications of the Niger Delta People’s
Movement, Ibifuro Thompson Tatua, thus urged Governor, Timipre Sylva, to ignore
Kpodo and his alleged friends and get on with important matters.
“In any system, there are always destroyers. Oyegun and
Sylva should look away from these destroyers," she said.

Tatua alleged Kpodo and his said co - travelers were
executing a carefully designed plan to discredit Sylva and destabilize the
party to further their selfish ends.
On calls to oppose the leadership of Sylva in the state,
the organisation described Kpodo’s views as "a display of outright malice
and envy against Sylvam"
“This is callous. This is certainly a provocative act.
Bayelsans must condemn the evil machinations of Kpodo, his highly contagious
annointing to lie and the satanic grace to mislead the people.”
Comment could not be obtained from Kpodo.
