Abuja - The decision of some state governors elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to publicly endorse their successors without allowing for primaries is creating tension in many state chapters of the party, reports Hallmark
Some of the governorship aspirants that have been shut out are threatening a showdown with the governors.

The aggrieved aspirants denounced the arbitrary endorsement of candidates by governors, describing it as undemocratic.
They insisted that all aspirants must come out and test their popularity at the party’s primaries.
