House Speaker mourns Bauchi mornach's passing

Abuja – The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has commiserated with the government and people of Bauchi State over the death of Emir of Misau, Alhaji Muhammadu Manga III.

The Speaker said the late monarch was a selfless leader who served his people with the fear of God.

He recalled that the late emir Manga worked to maintain peace and stability in his domain.

“The late Emir Muhammadu Manga was a father to all. He lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation and has bequeathed that legacy to his people,” Dogara said.

He added that Bauchi state has lost one of its most respected and revered traditional rulers.

He condoled with Manga`s family, the Misau emirate council, government and people of Bauchi State over the loss.

He prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The late monarch died on Monday morning in his hometown in Misau at the age of 81 after a protracted illness. - CAJ News
