Yola - A leading aspirant for the Adamawa State governorship re-run election under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Buba Marwa has debunked reports that he has stepped down for Nuhu Ribadu, the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

He also denied stepping down for the state acting-governor, Ahmadu Fintiri ,reports Premium Times.
Marwa, a former Military Administrator of Lagos, explained that his consultations with the two aspirants must not be misconstrue as stepping down for anyone of them.
He said rather than leaving the race for them, he would rather ask them to step down for him.
