Abuja - The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in Kogi and Bayelsa States, reports Channels.
The exercise began on Wednesday and will last for six days.
The CVR will take place at the local government area levels.

The exercise according to the commission is for three groups of eligible electorates to register and be able to vote in the elections.
These group of people are those who were eligible but did not register before the 2015 general elections, those who are eligible but whose names are not on the voters’ register and those who have attained the age of 18 years since the last voter registration exercise.
The governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa states will hold on November 21 and December 5 respectively.
