Abuja - The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has shifted the deadline for the submission of governorship and house of assembly candidates’ forms from December 25 to December 26, reports Punch.
The commission shifted the date because it falls on Christmas Day, which has already been declared a public holiday.
Kayode Idowu, Chief Press Secretary to INEC chairman, however, said that there was no extension in the December18 deadline set for the submission of Presidential and the National Assembly forms.
