Port Harcourt - The Ijaw Youth Council has threatened to attack supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential flag bearer, Muhammadu Buhari in the South if loyalists of Jonathan are attacked in the North, reports Punch.
The group said the decision to attack Buhari’s supporters was informed by reports that some persons in the North had resorted to sending open threat messages to pro-Jonathan governors and other supporters.
The group, in a statement by its spokesperson, Eric Omare said any threat or attack on supporters of President Jonathan in the North would be visited with proportionate action from the South.

He sated that Nigerians have a right to support any candidate of their choice without molestation, noting that supporters of Buhari in the South are going about their campaigns without any molestation from southerners.
