Owerri - A faction of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State has rejected the recent adoption of ex-Interior Minister, Emma Iheanacho, as the party's flag bearer in the 2015 governorship election in the state., reports Daily Independent.
Tony Mgbeahuruike, the party’ s publicity secretary in the state, said the endorsement was premature as none of the aspirants has collected an expression of interest form.

He noted that the purported endorsement was a ploy to arm twist the party into doing an illegality through the short cut and through the back door .
He described the group within the party that adopted the former minister as an unknown group.
