Adamawa - Embattled governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, may be recommended for impeachment according to the report by the seven-man investigative panel set up by the former Acting Chief Judge of Adamawa State, Justice Ambrose Mammadi, Osun Defender reports.
The committee rounded off its sitting on Saturday, following the refusal of Governor Nyako and his deputy, Bala Ngilari to appear before it.
The director of press and public affairs to the governor said the governor did not appear before the panel because the process of the impeachment was premised on illegality.
