Abuja - Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega will bow out of office next Tuesday, June 30. reports Punch.
He is bowing out after leading the commission for five years.
Though, he is eligible for reappointment, Jega has said he would not be interested to serve again..

Also bowing out with Jega are six National Commissioners who were appointed at the same time with him.
The six National Commissioners whose tenures expire on the same day with Jega are Col. M.K. Hammang,; Dr. Ishmael Jikiri Igbani and Prof. Lai Olurode.
Others are Dame Gladys Nne Nwafor, Thelma Amata Iremiren, and Dr. Nuru Yakubu.
