Abuja - Prof. Attahiru Jega, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has insisted that he has no intention of resigning from office, reports New Telegraph

He said those calling for his resignation over the creation and distribution of 30 027 polling units should forget the idea.
He noted that he is not worried by the clamour for his removal as this was not the first time people would be asking him to step down as Chairman of the commssion.
Jega, who was reacting to allegation that he allegedly skewed the distribution of the polling units against the South, said resigning as chairman of the commission was not on the card for now
