Dutse- All the elected local government Chairmen and Councilors in Jigawa State are set to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressive Congress (APC), reports Daily Times.
The move was not unconnected with the chairmen earlier decision to embrace the APC, based on its ideology of principle of justice and good governance.

Khalid S. Ibrahim, the state’s Chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), who spoke on behalf of the chairmen, said they embrace the APC based on its policies of cardinal principle of social justice and good governance.
He stated that the idea was conceived shortly after their maiden courtesy on Governor Badaru Abubakar, where they extolled his good virtue of leadership, describing him as a people-oriented governor.
