Dutse - Some top members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa State are set to decamp to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), reports Daily Trust.
The PDP chieftains include former federal and state legislators, former commissioners as well as serving local government chairmen.

Bashir Jumbo, a four-time member of the House of Representatives is leading the pack of the defectors.
Others are Lawal Danzomo, a former commissioner during former Governor Saminu Turaki’s administration, Hassan Malam-Mador, a former special adviser to former Governor Sule Lamido and 15 serving local government chairmen and their supporters.
Former Governor Sule Lamido’s deputy, Ahmed Mahmud Gumel, who decamped to the APC before the last governorship election, wooed the defectors to join the APC.
