Jigawa -Jigawa State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Yakubu Ruba, on Friday said the state had constructed new courts to enhance quick dispensation of justice.
He said the buildings were six High Courts, 15 Magistrates’ Courts and 38 upper and lower Sharia Courts located in different parts of the state.
Ruba said the office of the Federal High Court Judge and residential accommodations for the supporting staff members were captured in this year’s budget.
The commissioner commended Gov. Sule Lamido for the feat recorded by the Judiciary in the state under his administration.
Ruba said that all the Judges in the state were on e-libraries for their research on issues that could help them to discharge their duties.
He also said that the cases brought before the state judiciary were always disposed of without delay.
``We also use public opinion as a barometer in relation to dispensation of justice,” he said.
