Abuja - A fresh plot to replace Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo to stand as President Goodluck Jonathan’s running mate for the 2015 presidential election is in the offing, reports Sahara Reporters.
President Goodluck Jonathan is allegedly pushing for the Minister of Defence, Aliyu Gusau to be his running mate in the election.

Gusau’s choice is based on the belief that he can help Jonathan get enough northern votes to counter Muhammadu Buhari’s popularity in the north.

Gusau is, however, not keen in taking the offer.
