Kaduna - The Sultan of Sokoto, Jamatu Nasril Islam, says that Muslims gave President Goodluck Jonathan an agenda to implement during his 2011 presidential campaign.
He also said that Nigeria would not progress until Nigerians learned to correct their leaders when they make mistakes. These statements were made at the national conference and pre-Radaman meeting of JNI in Kaduna, Osun Defender reports.
“It was in this very hall we listened to what he wanted to see us for, and we gave him our agenda; the Muslim agenda, what we wanted from him. I want to state here that our main problem has been a lack of unity, a lack of consensus in whatever we do,” he said.
