Abuja - All the 14 aspirants struggling for the Peoples Democratic Party’s ticket for the Adamawa State governorship election are expected to meet with President Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) on Thursday.
The meeting was summoned by the President to resolve some disputes and prevail on all the aspirants to pick a consensus candidate , reports The Nation
The meeting would also try to resolve the acrimony among the aspirants so as not to create an opportunity for the rival All Progressives Congress (APC) to take advantage of the division to win the election.
A stern warning has been sent to all the aspirants that anyone who fails to attend the meeting will lose the right to participate in the primary election.
