Abuja - President Goodluck jonathan and governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) met on Sunday night at the presidential villa, Abuja, reports The Nation.
Details of the meeting which commenced at about 9:25pm at the First Lady’s conference room was unknown as journalists were not allowed near the venue.
It was learnt that the meeting was convened by the the leadership of the party to address issues and grievances that could heat up the party ahead of the 2015 general elections.

State governors present the meeting were those of Kebbi, Kaduna, Gombe, Adamawa, Bauchi, Ondo, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Cross River, Katsina, Abia, Niger and Taraba.
The governors of Kogi and Nasarawa were represented by their deputies respectively.
