Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan and some Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) principal officers in the House have concluded plans to reconvene the House of Representatives plenary within the next one week, reports NewsDay
The move is ostensibly to take further actions against the Speaker of the House, Aminu Tambuwal over his defection from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Part of the plot is to force 120 PDP lawmakers to sign and ask the Speaker to reconvene the House in line with the House’s provisions which requires the approval of one-third of the total number of 360 members to reconvene.
Should the plot to reconvene the House in one week fails, it was gathered that the President and the leaders resolved to mobilize PDP lawmakers to bar Tambuwal from entering either his office or the National Assembly when the House resumes on December 3.
