Abuja - President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is to meet with the aggrieved governors(G-7) of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in a final move to resolve the lingering political crisis rocking the party, Premium Times reports.
The meeting is scheduled to hold on Sunday, November 24 by 9p.m at the First Lady’s conference room, the State House, Presidential Villa according to a statement credited to the President’s Chief of Staff, Mike Oghiodomhe.
The governors are Rabiu Kwankwanso(Kano); Aliyu Wamakko(Sokoto), Chibuike Amaechi (Rivers), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Aliyu Babangida (Niger); Abdulfatai Ahmed(Kwara); and Murtala Nyako (Adamawa).
There are indications that all the governors would attend the meeting, eventhough there are doubts that the meeting will achieve the desired result according to a source close to the factional leader of the party, Abubakar Baraje.
