Makurdi - There appears to be a crack in the ranks of the Peoples Democratic Party as some leaders of the party are going against the decision of President Goodluck Jonathan, reports National Mirror.
One of such leaders, who has defied the decision of President Goodluck Jonathan is Governor Gabriel Suswam, who is going ahead to contest for a senatorial seat in his state.
Suswam has said the decision of President Jonathan to endorse automatic return tickets to senators is not binding on him.

He noted that the decision by Jonathan amounts to an exercise in futility as stakeholders in the state have their preferred candidates for the varios positions in the 2015 elections.
Suswam is vying for the Benue North East senatorial seat alongside the current senator and former PDP’national chairman, Barnabas Gemade.
