Kano - The Elders’ Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano has endorsed the 2015 presidential ambition of the Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, reports NewsDay.

In endorsing Kwankwaso, members of the committee said with the rising wave of insecurity and the myriads of problems currently undermining the nation, only a firm, competent and detribalized leader like Kwankwaso could save the country.
In a communiqué signed at the end of its meeting in Kano on Thursday, the elders said the nation required a capable hand to rescue it from imminent collapse.
They said their decision to support the governor was unanimously reached in consideration of the country’s need for better and more dynamic leaders.
