Kano - A faction of Kano State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged following the leadership crisis rocking the party in the state.

The faction plans to open its own secretariat to allow party activities and also enable members continue their plans for the forthcoming elections, reports Leadership.
The faction is led by a one time gubernatorial aspirant in the state, Hussaini Isa Mairiga.
Mairiga said the previous leadership of the party is one sided and those not represent the will of party members.
He noted that party members have been clamoring for the party to be run as as a merged party carrying everyone along.
Other executives of the new faction are Yahaya Muhammad Kyabo, deputy chairman, Bashir Kore, vice chairman, North; Abdulkadir Sulaiman, vice chairman, Central and Lawan Nayaya Fagge as secretary.
