Abuja - Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has approved the appointment of nine officials to head government institutions.
Baba Halilu Dantiye, the Director General of Media and Communications to the governor, confirmed the appointments, which are with immediate effect.
According to Dantiye, the governor approved the appointment of Dr Salisu Dan'azumi as Managing Director of Kano State Water Board. Prof. Mahmoud Ibrahim is the Managing Director of Kano Agricultural Rural Development Authority (KNARDA) while Dr Jibrilla Mohammed has been appointed the Managing Director of Kano State Investment and Properties Ltd (KSIP)

Bala Inuwa was appointed as the Managing Director of Kano Agricultural Supply Company (KASCO), Aliyu Abubakar Tudun Wada as Managing Director, Kano Line and Ali Mukhtar as the Managing Director, Kano State Housing Corporation.
Others are Garba Uba Danbayye (Managing Director, Rural Electrification Board (REB)), Dr Ibrahim Braji (Director General of Research and
Documentation) and Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado as the Executive Chairman of Kano State Anti-Corruption and Public Complains Commission.
Dantiye said Ganduje appealed to the official to make sacrifices and ensure that the goals of the administration of improving the living standard of the people were achieved.
He said the state government will continue to remain focused towards ensuring the desired changed as promised by the All Progressives Congress.
